Disney Dreamlight Valley's A Rift in Time expansion added many new forageable flowers, including the elusive Green Fly Trap. This guide reveals where to find them and what to use them for.
The Green Fly Trap, a distinctive exotic flower with spiky teeth, also exists in a purple variant and boasts a low spawn rate. Finding them is crucial for quests like Mickey's Flower Power (requiring six) and Gaston's The Wild Tangle's Swarm (requiring four).
Green Fly Trap Locations:
Green Fly Traps are found within the Wild Tangle biome's Grasslands and Promenade areas. A maximum of two typically spawn at once, and their green color can make them difficult to spot amongst the foliage. They can appear anywhere within these areas, including upper and lower levels, requiring thorough searching. Respawn time is approximately 60 minutes. The Purple Fly Trap spawns in the same locations.
Green Fly Trap Uses:
Beyond quests, Green Fly Traps are essential crafting ingredients for:
- Green Cobra Statue
- Green Leafy Trellis
- Potted Lily Pad Bush
They can also be sold at Goofy's Stall for 73 Gold Star Coins each. Therefore, collecting them whenever possible is advisable, especially for completing Eternity Isle quests. Remember to check back after an hour or so to allow for respawning.
