Lego Unveils New "Minecraft Movie" Sets Featuring Jack Black and Jason Momoa

Ahead of the April 4th release of "A Minecraft Movie," Lego has announced two new sets offering glimpses into the film's action-packed scenes. As reported by GamesRadar, these sets – the Woodland Mansion Fighting Ring and the Ghast Balloon Village Attack – expand the existing Minecraft Lego lineup and include minifigures of key characters like Jack Black's Steve and Jason Momoa's Garbage Man.

The $49.99 Woodland Mansion Fighting Ring (491 pieces) depicts a gladiator-style battle featuring Momoa's character facing off against a zombie riding a giant chicken. The scale of the chicken and zombie remains unclear, but the mount is significantly taller than the Garbage Man minifigure. The set also includes Steve, Henry, a giant zombie pigman, a treasure chest, and a small viewing stand with weapons.

The $69.99 Ghast Balloon Village Attack set (555 pieces) showcases a large-scale battle in a village, featuring the Nether's Ghast. This set includes one villager, two piglins, Steve, Natalie, Dawn, and an iron golem.

Both sets launch on March 1st, a month before the film's theatrical debut. The film's initial trailer faced criticism for the visual disparity between the live-action characters and the animated world, a reaction acknowledged by the film's director and producer in a November interview with IGN. They expressed confidence in their approach, stating they were "ready for everything."
