A New Weapon: The Switch Axe
Season 4 introduces the versatile Switch Axe. This two-in-one weapon boasts powerful, long-reaching Axe Mode attacks, quickly transitioning to the devastating Sword Mode for frenzied close-quarters combat. Unlock the Switch Gauge by completing Chapter 2 of the pre-season story.
Palico Companions Join the Hunt
Customize your very own Palico companion! Adjust their fur color, facial features, and give them a unique name. AR functionality lets you bring your Palico into the real world for some memorable photos. These helpful companions will aid in gathering materials and scouting monsters.
Friend Cheering Adds a Social Element
Season 4 introduces Friend Cheering, adding a supportive element to your hunts. Send cheers to your friends to provide them with a temporary health boost for the day (with a daily limit).
