Palworld Mobile Version Is In The Works By The Makers Of PUBG

Krafton and Pocket Pair are joining forces to bring the monster-catching game, Palworld, to mobile devices. Krafton, known for PUBG, will leverage its expertise to adapt Palworld's core gameplay for mobile platforms through its subsidiary, PUBG Studios. This collaboration expands the Palworld intellectual property.

While details remain scarce, the mobile version is currently under development. The original Palworld game launched on Xbox and Steam in January, later releasing on PlayStation 5 (excluding Japan). The Japan-specific delay is potentially linked to an ongoing legal dispute with Nintendo over alleged patent infringement concerning Pokéball mechanics. Pocket Pair denies any knowledge of specific patent violations.

Krafton's involvement is crucial, given Pocket Pair's ongoing development of the existing game. While the mobile project is likely in its early stages, the partnership promises a smoother transition to the mobile market. Further details regarding the mobile version—whether it will be a direct port or a modified adaptation—are eagerly awaited. For now, interested players can explore the game's official Steam page for more information.
