Path of Exile 2: A Comprehensive Guide to Delirium Endgame Events

Path of Exile 2's Atlas features four major endgame encounters: Rituals, Breaches, Expeditions, and Delirium. Delirium, a returning mechanic from previous PoE leagues, is detailed here. This guide covers initiating Delirium events, understanding the mechanics, accessing the Simulacrum Pinnacle map, utilizing the Delirium Passive Skill Tree, and maximizing rewards.

Understanding Delirium Fog and Mirrors

Delirium Mirror Icon Atlas map nodes offering guaranteed Delirium events are marked with a distinctive white and black icon resembling the Delirium Mirror. A Delirium Precursor Tablet placed in a Lost Tower guarantees a Delirium event on that node.

Within a Delirium map, locate the multicolored, shattered-glass Delirium Mirror near your starting point. Approaching it triggers a ghostly energy effect. Entering the mirror initiates the encounter, surrounding you with a expanding circle of Delirium Fog.

The Fog's radius expands, increasing enemy difficulty. Leaving the Fog ends the encounter and resets the map. Enemies within the Fog are stronger and have a higher chance to drop unique Delirium rewards, including Distilled Emotions (used in crafting) and Simulacrum Splinters (for summoning the Pinnacle Boss). Fractured Mirrors within the Fog spawn additional waves of enemies and loot.

Random boss encounters with Kosis and Omniphobia may occur; these are full bosses, not Rare enemies. They can also appear during the Simulacrum Pinnacle event.

The Simulacrum Pinnacle Event

All endgame events offer Pinnacle Boss summoning items. High-tier Waystones in Delirium Fog yield Simulacrum Splinters. Accumulate 300 Splinters to create a Simulacrum for the Realmgate.

Activating the Simulacrum initiates a 15-wave encounter with escalating difficulty. Delirium bosses have an increased chance to spawn in later waves. Completing the Simulacrum awards two Delirium Passive Skill points.

The Delirium Passive Skill Tree

Delirium Passive Skill Tree The Delirium Passive Skill Tree, accessed via the Atlas Passive Skill Tree (top-left button on the Atlas Map, then top-right), modifies Delirium events. Its white, mirror-shaped design is distinctive. It features eight Notable nodes and eight nodes increasing Simulacrum difficulty.

Each Simulacrum completion grants two passive points. Increasing Simulacrum difficulty is necessary to access new Notable nodes.

Notable Delirium Passive Effect Requirements

Would You Like To See My Face? Fog doubles difficulty scaling but doubles Splinter stack size. Get Out Of My Head!
You Can't Just Wake Up From This One Fog dissipates 30% slower. N/A
I'm Not Afraid Of You! Delirium Bosses have 50% increased Life, but drop 50% more Splinters. You Can't Just Wake Up From This One
They're Coming To Get You... Unique Bosses spawn 25% more often; Rare monster kills pause Fog dissipation. N/A

Prioritize "You Can't Just Wake Up From This One," "Get Out Of My Head!," and "They're Coming To Get You" for optimal reward increases without significant drawbacks.

Delirium Rewards

Distilled Emotions Delirium Fog-affected enemies and bosses drop Distilled Emotions. These unique currencies anoint amulets with Notable Passive Skills, eliminating the need for passive skill point investment.

Distilled Emotions Set (Images of Distilled Ire, Guilt, Greed, Paranoia, Envy, Disgust, Despair, Fear, Suffering, Isolation)

Distilled Emotions also add guaranteed modifiers to Waystones, increasing Delirious debuffs and enemy power. Simulacrum Splinters, dropped by enemies, combine to create the Simulacrum for the 15-wave Pinnacle event, rewarding Delirium Passive points and a guaranteed unique item.
