Dell (Alienware), HP, and Lenovo Prebuilt PCs Coming Later
Major OEMs like Dell, HP, and Lenovo will not introduce their prebuilt gaming PCs with the new RTX 50-series GPUs until later this year. Dell showcased its Alienware Area 51 at CES 2025, expected to launch in Q1. HP plans to equip its flagship Omen 45L with the RTX 5090 and 5080 by mid or late February, while Lenovo has yet to announce a launch date for its Legion Tower with these GPUs.

Nvidia unveiled the RTX 50-series GPUs at CES 2025, focusing on enhanced AI features alongside modest hardware improvements. DLSS 4 technology promises to quadruple frame rates with minimal visual impact. In our review of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 FE, Jackie Thomas noted that while it surpasses the RTX 4090, the generational performance uplift is modest in traditional gaming. However, DLSS 4 significantly boosts performance in supported games, albeit with AI-generated frames.
Similarly, in the RTX 5080 FE review, Jackie found that for those with recent high-end GPUs, the RTX 5080 offers little performance gain over the RTX 4080. Yet, it provides a substantial upgrade for those with older cards, especially when utilizing Nvidia's AI enhancements.
