January 2025 Gacha Game Revenue Report: Genshin Impact Leads the Pack
The gacha gaming world continues to generate impressive revenue, with January 2025's figures showcasing significant shifts in market dominance. A recent report highlights the financial performance of several leading titles.
Genshin Impact, boosted by a major update featuring the Pyro Archon and the highly anticipated Mawuika banner, experienced a remarkable surge in revenue. Data indicates a doubling of income, reaching $99.4 million compared to $45.6 million in December 2024.

Pokemon TCG secured a strong second position with $64 million in revenue, while Love and Deepspace, a popular "female gacha" title, claimed third place at $55.2 million.
Conversely, Honkai Star Rail saw a decline in earnings, falling to $50.8 million. Zenless Zone Zero also experienced a downturn, with revenue halved from $57.9 million to $26.3 million.
It's important to note that the rankings reflect revenue generated solely from mobile platforms. The report also acknowledges that Chinese Android revenue is estimated using a multiplier based on iOS data due to the absence of Google Play in the region.
