What is Donkey Kong Country Returns HD?
This isn't the first re-release for Donkey Kong Country Returns. Following its 2010 Wii debut, Nintendo released a 3DS version in 2013, featuring eight exclusive levels. This HD release incorporates all original Wii levels plus the additional 3DS content.
The game maintains its notoriously challenging gameplay. However, players can now choose between the original difficulty or an easier mode (introduced in the 3DS version) offering extra hearts and assistance.
Expect classic Donkey Kong gameplay: navigating treacherous pits, swinging on vines, barrel blasting, banana collecting, and much more. Two-player couch co-op is also available after encountering Diddy Kong.
