The Samsung S90D is the latest 2024 model, and while a new "S90F" model was announced at CES 2025, it's not yet available. This TV features Samsung's proprietary quantum dot (QD) OLED panel, which is brighter than traditional OLED panels while maintaining the color accuracy, range, and wide-viewing angles that OLEDs are celebrated for. Compared to traditional LED LCD TVs, OLED TVs like the S90D offer superior image quality, near-infinite blacks, a near-infinite contrast ratio, and near-instantaneous response times.
Beyond its OLED technology, the Samsung S90D is packed with features ideal for gaming. It has a native 120Hz panel that can be overclocked to 144Hz, and it comes equipped with four HDMI 2.1 ports, allowing you to run 4K at 120Hz on your PS5 or Xbox Series X.
