Celebrate 25 Years of The Sims with Legacy Collections!

EA and Maxis are commemorating The Sims' 25th anniversary with a fantastic surprise: The Sims 1 and The Sims 2 are back on PC! Available now are The Sims: Legacy Collection and The Sims 2: Legacy Collection, individually or bundled together for $40 in The Sims 25th Birthday Bundle.

These comprehensive collections include nearly all expansion and stuff packs for both games. While The Sims 2: Legacy Collection omits the 2008 IKEA Home Stuff pack, it still boasts a substantial amount of content. Both collections even include bonus content: The Sims 1 receives a "Throwback Fit Kit," and The Sims 2 gets a "Grunge Revival Kit."

PlayThis marks the first time in over a decade that both games have been easily accessible. The Sims 1, originally only available on disc, was previously unavailable digitally. The Sims 2's Ultimate Collection, previously available on Origin, was also discontinued. Now, all four main Sims titles are readily available digitally.

Originally reviewed with scores of 9.5/10 (The Sims 1) and 8.5/10 (The Sims 2), these classic titles offer a unique charm. Despite the series' evolution, the originals retain their appeal through their quirky gameplay, relative simplicity, challenging aspects, and historical significance.

The Sims: Legacy Collection and The Sims 2: Legacy Collection are available now on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the EA app.
