Pokémon Go's March Community Day Classic is set to feature Totodile, the Big Jaw Pokémon, on March 22nd from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time. During this event, Totodile will appear more frequently in the wild, giving players a golden opportunity to catch this beloved Pokémon in large numbers. Keep your eyes peeled for a Shiny Totodile, which might just appear if luck is on your side.
A key highlight of the event is the chance to evolve Croconaw into Feraligatr. If you evolve it during the event or up until March 29th at 10:00 pm local time, your Feraligatr will learn the powerful Charged Attack Hydro Cannon. This move boasts 80 power in Trainer Battles and 90 power in Gyms and raids, making it a formidable addition to your Water-type team.
To maximize your rewards, consider purchasing the Community Day Classic Special Research for $2 (or the local equivalent). Completing this research will unlock valuable rewards, including a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and multiple encounters with Totodile, some of which will feature a Seasonal Special Background.
Logging in during the Community Day Classic will also grant you access to Timed Research that lasts for a full week. This gives you an extended opportunity to encounter Totodile and evolve your Feraligatr with Hydro Cannon before the deadline. Don't forget to redeem Pokémon Go codes for additional goodies.
The event comes packed with several bonuses to enhance your gameplay. Eggs placed in Incubators during the event will hatch with 1/4 the usual distance, while Lure Modules and Incense will last for three hours. Taking snapshots during the event could also lead to a delightful surprise.
