Cassette Beasts Finally Arrives on Android!
After numerous delays, Cassette Beasts, developed by Bytten Studio and published by Raw Fury, has finally launched globally on Android. This follows its initial release on PC two years ago.
For those unfamiliar, Cassette Beasts is a unique RPG centered around cassette tapes. Think of them as the ancient music players your parents used!
Gameplay:
You awaken stranded on the bizarre island of New Wirral, a place where monsters roam freely and people transform into creatures to battle them. The island itself is powered by cassette tapes.
Your objective: survive and escape. This involves using your cassette player to record monsters, then playing them back to transform into those very creatures.
Form alliances with the inhabitants of Harbourtown to fuse monster forms, creating powerful and unique hybrid creatures. The possibilities are virtually limitless, as any two monsters can be combined.
Exploration and Combat:
New Wirral is brimming with dungeons, puzzles, and hidden areas accessible only with specific monster abilities. Expect to glide, swim, climb, and even utilize magnetic powers.
Combat is turn-based, incorporating an intricate elemental system. Strategic elemental combinations allow you to disrupt enemies, enhance your team, and even alter an opponent's elemental type mid-battle.
Controller Support:
The game offers Bluetooth controller support, though minor glitches might be encountered.
Cassette Beasts is free-to-play and available now on the Google Play Store.
