Description

If you're using the Wacom One pen tablets CTC4110WL & CTC6110WL on Android devices running versions 8-13, you'll need to take note of some important details for a seamless drawing experience. The screen on your Android device may have a different aspect ratio compared to the drawing area on your Wacom One pen tablet. Without the Wacom Center App, this difference could lead to distorted drawings, which can be frustrating when you're trying to perfect your strokes.

The Wacom Center app is specifically designed to address this issue. It calculates the precise size of the Wacom One's drawing area to ensure your drawings are free from distortion. Once installed, it adjusts the active drawing area, leaving the rest of the tablet inactive. This app also offers flexibility, allowing you to choose from three different drawing area locations on most Android devices, enhancing your overall drawing experience.

To get started and enjoy distortion-free drawing, make sure to download and use the Wacom Center app. It's worth noting that virtually all Android 8-13 devices should be used in portrait orientation when connected to your Wacom One pen tablet. Android 8-13 does not support pen tablet input in landscape orientation or Desktop mode, so keep your device in portrait to avoid any issues.

However, if you're using Android 14 or a later version, the Wacom Center app is not necessary. Android 14 and later versions automatically ensure distortion-free drawing across all device orientations. For Bluetooth connectivity, simply pair your pen tablet through the Android system settings. If you've previously installed the Wacom Center app on Android 14 or later, you can safely uninstall it, as it's no longer required.
