The official Ayushman Bharat mobile app, launched by the Indian government, simplifies access to the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) healthcare scheme.
PM-JAY offers cashless secondary and tertiary care treatment at participating public and private hospitals, covering over 10 crore underprivileged families. The National Health Authority (NHA) oversees the scheme's implementation.
This user-friendly app allows beneficiaries to generate their own "Ayushman cards," enabling them to receive free treatment up to INR 5 Lakhs. Further PM-JAY benefits will be accessible through the app in the near future.
