Citadelle des Morts in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies boasts a rich storyline deeply intertwined with the lore of Black Ops 4 and Vanguard. A crucial step in the main Easter Egg quest involves locating four elusive page fragments to decipher symbols scattered across the map. These fragments can be tricky to find, and sometimes even fail to appear correctly.
Ensuring Fragment Appearance:
To maximize your chances of finding the fragments, complete these steps beforehand:
- Activate Pack-a-Punch on Citadelle des Morts.
- Interact with Professor Krafft via the closed door in the Dungeon.
Completing these steps should ensure the fragments are visible if they weren't initially.
Page Fragment Locations:
The four fragments are always located within the Sitting Room (containing Stamin-Up) or its adjacent Passage. They appear as small pieces of paper, each bearing a unique symbol.
Potential spawn locations include:
- Near the vase by the torch in the Sitting Room Passage.
- Between two torches (one lit, one unlit) to the left of the previous location.
- On the ruined corner wall of the Passage.
- On the TVs near Stamin-Up.
- On the couch in the Sitting Room.
- Next to the static-filled TV.
- By the fireplace near the bunk beds.
- On the bunk beds themselves.
- On an end table or desk near the bunk beds.
- On the floor or crates in the Passage.
- Next to the rope bundle near a torch and boxes in the Passage.

Utilizing the Fragments:
Once all four fragments are collected, they become essential in the later stages of the Easter Egg quest. Locate the book behind a destructible wall in the Undercroft. Use the Melee Macchiato perk's enhanced melee attack to break the wall. This reveals a symbol puzzle.
Solving the puzzle spawns a red orb. Interact with the orb to place the fragments' symbols onto the book. Note the symbols' order (top-left, bottom-left, top-right, bottom-right). Each symbol corresponds to a Point of Power Trap. Activate each trap in the noted order, obtaining kills within the trap until it deactivates. Successfully completing this process will extinguish the corresponding symbol on the book, leading you closer to completing the Easter Egg.
