The Pokémon GO Fashion Week event is back, featuring returning costumed Pokémon and the debut of a new stylish Pokémon – Minccino and Cinccino in fashionable attire!
When to Catch Costumed Minccino:
The Fashion Week 2025 event, running from January 10th to 19th, 2025, marks the arrival of these costumed Pokémon. Both sport chic rhinestone glasses and adorable bows. While Costume Minccino has a shiny variant, Costume Cinccino does not. The event also brings back costumed Butterfree, Dragonite, Diglett, Blitzle, Kirlia, Shinx, and various Furfrou forms.
How to Acquire Costume Minccino:
Unlike previous events, obtaining Costume Minccino requires a bit more effort. It's available through two methods:
One-Star Raids:
Costume Minccino will appear in One-Star Raids during the event. These are generally soloable, but you might need to check several Gyms as Costume Shinx and Furfrou will also be present.
Paid Timed Research:
A $5 (or regional equivalent) ticket unlocks a Timed Research with XP, Stardust, a new avatar pose, and guaranteed Costume Minccino encounters.
Field Research Tasks:
While Field Research Tasks offer event-themed Pokémon encounters, Niantic hasn't specified if Costume Minccino will be among them.
Obtaining Costume Cinccino:
To get Costume Cinccino, evolve your Costume Minccino using 50 Minccino Candy and a Unova Stone.
