A new Sims game is in the works, and it's available for playtesting in Australia! While not the highly anticipated Sims 5, The Sims Labs: Town Stories offers a taste of what's to come. This mobile simulation game is part of EA's Sims Labs initiative, a testing ground for future franchise features.
Currently in its playtest phase, Town Stories blends classic Sims building with character-driven narratives. Players construct neighborhoods, guide residents through personal stories, manage careers, and uncover secrets within the game's Plumbrook setting.
Initial reactions have been mixed, with some critics expressing concern over the graphics and potential for microtransactions. However, given its experimental nature, the game's visuals and gameplay may evolve significantly during development.
