This marks the fourth free game offered by the EGS in 2025, and based on its OpenCritic score of 80 (88% recommendation rate), it's poised to be the highest-rated free game offered so far this year.
This free offering, available for a week (January 16th-23rd), provides PC gamers with a chance to experience this popular title, originally released in July 2022 by Coin Crew Games. The game challenges players to hone their escape room skills as students at the Escape Academy, training to become masters of the art.
A Previous Freebie, Now with a Week-Long Offer
Interestingly, Escape Academy was previously offered as a free mystery game on the EGS on January 1st, 2024. This current giveaway, however, is the first time the game will be available for a full week.
