This guide details how to obtain the four Burning Firestones in Genshin Impact's "The Other Side of the Sky" quest. After assisting Bona with the Chu'ulel Light Core, players must locate and offer Burning Firestones to the Altar of Primal of Flame to progress.
Obtaining the Burning Firestones:
The quest unfolds across Tonatiuh, a floating island. The Firestones are scattered across different areas, requiring manipulation of environmental mechanics and combat encounters.
Burning Firestone #1:
This Firestone is obtained automatically during a cutscene after reaching Tonatiuh. Follow the Little One across a raised bridge to trigger the next stage.
Burning Firestone #2:
This Firestone is located on the northeastern isle. Players must rotate floating island mechanisms to extend bridges, raise lifts, and overcome minor challenges (including combat) before reaching it. Along the way, there are Common and Exquisite chests to collect.
Burning Firestone #3:
The third Firestone is initially taken by a Secret Source Sentinel to the southwestern isle. Players must use a Qucusaurus to reach the Pyroculus, activate mechanisms, and navigate the island to retrieve it.
Burning Firestone #4:
The final Firestone is on the northwestern isle's upper level. Players need to utilize Bona's assistance to adjust a bridge, glide across, lower a lift, and defeat enemies before retrieving the stone. A Precious chest is also available here.
Completing the Quest:
After gathering all four Firestones and offering them to the altar, a cutscene will transform the Jade of Return into a Golden Entreaty. This triggers a confrontation with the Dragon of the City of Flowing Ash, leading to the Nursery of Nightmares and the quest's conclusion, rewarding players with 50 Primogems.
