Konami is working hard to get Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater released in 2025

Konami's developers have provided an update on the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake, targeting a 2025 release. Producer Noriaki Okamura emphasized the studio's commitment to delivering a high-quality, polished game that meets fan expectations.

Okamura, in a 4Gamer interview, stated that the team is focused on completing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in 2025. While the game is currently playable from start to finish, the remaining development time will be dedicated to refining details and enhancing the overall quality.

Previous speculation suggested a 2024 release, but that timeline has shifted. The remake is now planned for next year, and will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The remake aims to faithfully capture the essence of the original while incorporating modern gameplay mechanics and enhanced visuals. Beyond graphical upgrades, Okamura promised new features designed to improve the overall gaming experience.

Konami unveiled a captivating trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in late September. This over two-minute video showcased dramatic scenes, including the protagonist, key antagonists, an airdrop sequence, and intense firefights.
