Marvel Rivals Season 1: Free Skins, New Characters, and More!
NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals kicks off Season 1: Eternal Night Falls with a surprise gift for players: free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins! This generous offering is included in the base battle pass. Dracula's attack on New York City sets the stage, forcing the Fantastic Four to take center stage. The season runs from January 10th to April 11th, 2025.
The Fantastic Four are the stars of this season's character additions. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are immediately available, with Human Torch and The Thing joining the roster in a mid-season update. Leaks suggest Human Torch will be a Duelist and The Thing a Vanguard class character.
Players can earn the free Peni Parker (Blue Tarantula skin) and Scarlet Witch (Emporium Matron skin) cosmetics by completing in-game quests and accumulating Chrono Tokens. These skins are located on pages three and nine of the battle pass, respectively. While the Scarlet Witch skin includes a free emote, the MVP animation requires the premium battle pass (990 Lattice, approximately $10). A separate Midnight Features event offers a free Thor skin through quest completion.
Beyond the free rewards, the in-game shop features new villainous skins for Invisible Woman (Malice) and Mister Fantastic (The Maker). These stylish additions, along with the other new content, have generated significant excitement among Marvel Rivals players.
