NetEase Announces the EOS of Dead by Daylight Mobile

NetEase's popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile, is officially ending its service. After four years, the mobile adaptation of the hit 4v1 survival horror title will be shutting down. While this marks the end for the mobile version, the PC and console versions remain unaffected and will continue to operate.

Dead by Daylight Mobile, released in April 2020 (following the PC release in June 2016), offered players the thrilling experience of playing as either Killer or Survivor in a high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse. Killers sought to sacrifice Survivors to The Entity, while Survivors fought for survival.

Dead by Daylight Mobile's End of Service (EOS) Date:

The official EOS date is March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025, meaning new downloads will no longer be possible after that date. Existing players can continue to enjoy the game until the final shutdown on March 20th.

NetEase will be processing refunds according to regional laws. Further details on the refund process will be provided on January 16th, 2025.

Players wishing to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A welcome package awaits those who make the switch, and loyalty rewards will be offered for players who have previously spent money or accumulated XP in the mobile game.
