How to Get Fidough & Dachsbun in Pokémon GO
Fidough and Dachsbun were introduced during the Fidough Fetch event (January 4th-8th, 2025). Fidough appeared as a wild spawn, increasing encounter chances for Trainers. Additionally, Fidough could be obtained through Field Research Tasks and Collection Challenges.
Trainers can also acquire Fidough or Dachsbun through trading with other players. Online Pokémon GO communities, such as Reddit or Discord, are helpful resources for finding trading partners.
Dachsbun doesn't appear in the wild. To obtain it, Trainers must either trade for one or evolve a Fidough using 50 Candies. Consider comparing the stats of multiple Fidough before evolving, as Dachsbun is a capable battler, useful for future events, PvP, and NPC battles.
Can Fidough & Dachsbun Be Shiny in Pokémon GO?
Currently (as of the Dual Destiny season), shiny Fidough and Dachsbun are unavailable. However, future events may introduce shiny variants, as is common practice with Pokémon GO. Until then, Trainers will need to patiently await future opportunities.
