SD Gundam G Generation Eternal: US Network Test Announced!

Good news for Gundam fans! Despite a radio silence since 2022, SD Gundam G Generation Eternal is far from canceled. A network test is on the horizon, and for the first time, US players can participate!

Applications are now open until December 7th, offering 1500 lucky individuals a sneak peek from January 23rd to 28th, 2025. This marks a significant expansion beyond the game's initial Japanese, Korean, and Hong Kong release plans.

The SD Gundam series, known for its strategic grid-based battles featuring a massive roster of pilots and mecha from the entire Gundam universe, is a beloved entry in the franchise.

For those unfamiliar, SD Gundam stands for "super deformed," showcasing chibi-style, stylized versions of iconic mecha—once so popular they even surpassed the original designs in popularity!

US Debut

The anticipation for this latest SD Gundam title is high. However, Bandai Namco's track record with the series has been somewhat inconsistent. Let's hope SD Gundam G Generation Eternal (quite the mouthful!) proves to be a high-quality addition to the franchise.
