Nintendo and LEGO have delighted fans with some remarkable collaborations, such as the innovative Mario and Yoshi set that brings characters to life through movement, and the inaugural LEGO Legend of Zelda set. While these sets are fantastic, the offerings have primarily focused on Mario (including Donkey Kong) and Animal Crossing. As a fan of both LEGO and Nintendo, I'm eager to see more of Nintendo's iconic franchises transformed into LEGO sets. For fellow enthusiasts, the question arises: Which Nintendo franchise would you most like to see get the LEGO treatment next?
With the buzz surrounding the upcoming Switch 2, the excitement for Nintendo's next generation of products continues to build. As Nintendo expands its reach into movies with a new Mario film and a planned live-action Zelda, along with upcoming Switch games, it's likely we'll see even more LEGO Nintendo sets in the future. Which franchises do you think could realistically become LEGO sets by 2025 or beyond? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
Personally, I believe the Metroid franchise would translate into some of the most captivating LEGO sets. With Metroid Prime 4 on the horizon, it presents a perfect opportunity for LEGO to create detailed and engaging builds that I would be eager to purchase. Additionally, I'd love to see official LEGO Pokémon sets, although this might be challenging due to existing licensing agreements with Mattel and The Pokémon Company.
