In the open-world gacha RPG Infinity Nikki, the titular character is isekai'd by a magical dress, granting access to Ability Outfits for traversing Miraland, purifying Dark Essence and Esselings, and interacting with the environment. These outfits are unlocked via Sketches, requiring crafted or gacha-obtained clothing. Each ability has a basic outfit unlocked through the Heart of Infinity skill tree, while premium outfits are exclusively available via Resonance Banners (the gacha system).

How to Unlock Ability Outfits
Floating Outfit
What it does: Allows brief aerial floating after a jump. Activation: Long tap jump, then tap jump again.
Unlock:
- Bubbly Voyage: Obtained during the "Prologue: Embark on an Unknown Journey" mission (using 1 Whimstar). This can be evolved into Bubbly Voyage: Spring using 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, and 7 Calm Thoughts, and duplicates of Bubbly Voyage clothing.
- Blooming Dreams: Requires all 10 clothing pieces from the limited-time "Blooming Fantasy" Resonance Banner (December 5-18, 2024). Cannot be unlocked outside this banner. Evolves into Blooming Dreams: Phoenix by obtaining duplicates of all 10 pieces. Blooming Dreams: Tides and Glow can be unlocked using Heartshine from the Deep Echoes banner.
Purification Outfit
What it does: Purifies Dark Essence and Esselings. Activation: Click or tap attack.
Unlock:
- Wind of Purity: Obtained during "Prologue: Embark On an Unknown Journey" (using 2 Whimstars). Evolves into Wind of Purity: Dawn using 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, and 7 Calm Thoughts, and duplicates of Wind of Purity clothing.
- Crystal Poems: Requires all 10 clothing pieces from the permanent "Distant Sea" banner. Crystal Poems: Snow and Spring can be unlocked using Heartshine from the Deep Echoes banner. Evolves into Crystal Poems: Blazing by obtaining duplicates of all 10 pieces.
Animal Grooming Outfit
What it does: Allows grooming animals for materials. Activation: Approach creature, press Ability button.
Unlock:
- Bye-Bye Dust: Obtained during Chapter 1’s Land of Wishes quest (using 2 Whimstars). Evolves into Bye-Bye Dust: Kitty using 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, and 7 Calm Thoughts, and duplicates of Bye-Bye Dust clothing.
- Breezy Tea Time: Requires all 10 clothing pieces from the permanent "Distant Sea" banner. Evolves into Breezy Tea Time: Siesta by obtaining duplicates of all 8 pieces.
Fishing Outfit
What it does: Allows fishing. Activation: Find bubbling spot, tap ability button; reel in when bell chimes, pull opposite direction of fish.
Unlock:
- Rippling Serenity: Obtained during Chapter 1’s Unexplained Coma Incidents quest (using 2 Whimstars). Evolves into Rippling Serenity: Dream using 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, and 7 Calm Thoughts, and duplicates of Rippling Serenity clothing.
- Shark Mirage: Requires all 10 clothing pieces from the permanent "Distant Sea" banner. Evolves into Shark Mirage: Summer by obtaining duplicates of all 9 pieces.
Bug Catching Outfit
What it does: Allows catching bugs. Activation: Approach insect, tap ability button.
Unlock:
- Afternoon Shine: Obtained during Chapter 1’s Accident at the Clothing Store quest (using 2 Whimstars). Evolves into Afternoon Shine: Rain using 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, and 7 Calm Thoughts, and duplicates of Afternoon Shine clothing.
- Forest's Fluttering: Requires all 10 clothing pieces from the permanent "Distant Sea" banner. Evolves into Forest’s Fluttering: Starry by obtaining duplicates of all 9 pieces.
Electrician Outfit
What it does: Allows fixing electrical problems. Activation: Stand near device, tap ability button, solve grid puzzle.
Unlock:
- Fully Charged: Obtained during Chapter 1’s Power Outage Rescue quest (using 2 Whimstars). Evolves into Fully Charged: Refreshing using 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, and 7 Calm Thoughts, and duplicates of Fully Charged clothing.
- Froggy Fashion: Requires all 10 clothing pieces from the limited-time "Croaker’s Whisper" Resonance Banner (December 18-29, 2024). Cannot be unlocked outside this banner. Evolves into Froggy Fashion: Night by obtaining duplicates of all 10 pieces.
Floral Gliding Outfit
What it does: Allows gliding. Activation: Jump from high point, tap ability button, follow currents.
Unlock:
- Floral Memory: Obtained during Chapter 3’s Wish Collector’s Crisis quest (using 1 Whimstar and 10,000 Bling). Evolves into Floral Memory: Gleam using 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, and 7 Calm Thoughts, and duplicates of Floral Memory clothing.
Violinist Outfit
What it does: Allows musical performances. Activation: Tap ability button, follow on-screen notes.
Unlock:

Shrinking Outfit
What it does: Allows shrinking and riding Momo. Activation: Tap ability button to shrink and pilot Momo.

Whimsicality Outfit
What it does: Allows painting graffiti. Activation: Tap ability button for idle animation.

Stylish Outfits
Stylish Outfits, obtained from Kilo the Cadenceborn in exchange for Dews of Inspiration, are purely cosmetic and do not grant abilities. They can be used for overworld traversal.
