HoYoverse has unveiled details for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6, "Among the Forgotten Ruins," launching March 12th and bringing a thrilling new chapter to New Eridu. This update significantly expands the story and introduces exciting new characters.
What's New in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6?
Version 1.6 plunges Proxies into a high-stakes auction orchestrated by the Mayor, sending them on a quest to secure a mysterious artifact linked to the Sacrifice. However, the phantom thief syndicate, Mockingbird, aims to disrupt the Mayor's plans, creating a chaotic struggle for control. Other factions also vie for the artifact, adding layers of intrigue. Version 1.6 introduces Anby Demara, formerly Soldier 0 and leader of Silver Squad, as a new S-Rank Electric Attack Agent wielding dual swords. Trigger, an ace sniper from Obol Squad, also joins the roster as an S-Rank Electric Stun Agent, utilizing Sniper Mode for evasive maneuvers and precise shots, setting up teammates for Quick Assists.
Returning Favorites
Several popular characters make a comeback, including Pulchra Fellini (A-Rank Physical Stun Agent), Burnice (S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent), and Zhuyuan (S-Rank Ether Attack Agent), all featured in rerun banners. Geppetto emerges as the new Hollow Zero boss.
New Challenges and Game Modes
Prepare for Battlefront Purge's challenging new Difficulty VI. The new Hollow Zero game mode, Shadow Operation, introduces unique stage effects, such as damage boosts based on accumulated coins. Trigger's TV Schedule offers third-person sniper missions, while "March On, Tiny Titan!" lets you control a Bangboo drone in unique challenges. "Little Knight's Big Charge" guides a Bangboo through ten trials, rewarding players with Pulchra as a playable agent.
