Description

This versatile portable media player also serves as a UPnP DLNA DMR (Digital Media Renderer), enhancing your media experience with seamless connectivity and playback. It supports a wide range of subtitle formats, including SSA/ASS/SUP, ensuring that you enjoy your favorite movies and shows with the subtitles you prefer.

The player allows users to access their media files through the Storage Access Framework (SAF), giving you full control over your content. With support for full-featured SSA/ASS subtitles, you can customize your viewing experience by adding or managing font files yourself. These subtitles can be dimmed to suit the high contrast and brightness of HDR and Dolby Vision (DV) playback, and the font size is adjustable to your preference.

Starting from version 5.1, the player also supports subtitles in SUP (Blu-ray) and VobSub (DVD) formats. Subtitles can be embedded within MKV files or loaded externally. You can select a single subtitle file or use a package in Zip/7Z/RAR format during playback, offering flexibility and convenience.

This media player is equipped to handle HDR/DV content, providing a visually stunning experience. It also supports digital audio passthrough, MKV chapter navigation, frame-by-frame stepping, audio track selection and delay, as well as subtitle selection and time offset. Additionally, it displays the frame rate and automatically adjusts the refresh rate for optimal viewing.

For Dolby Vision enthusiasts, playback on the NVidia Shield TV 2019 is fully supported. You can rotate videos on demand and zoom in for a full-screen experience using simple pinch gestures.

Originally designed for segmented files playback, the player supports m3u8 (HLS media list) format files, which were initially designed for TS files but now also support mp4 and flv formats.

The latest update includes fixes for subtitles auto-selection, the first chapter starting at 0:00 issue, and new system adaptations. You can now set a default language for subtitles in the selection box. Additionally, you can select a subtitle file directly from the Storage Access Framework content page, which can be sourced from local storage, Samba/Windows sharing, or WebDAV clients provided by your chosen SAF content provider apps. Efforts have also been made to resolve a DMR service crash bug.
