If you're curious about the inner workings of your Android device, CPU-Z is the go-to application for detailed system information. This free tool, a well-known CPU identifier from the PC world, has been adapted for Android, offering a comprehensive look at your device's specs.
CPU-Z provides a wealth of data, including the SoC (System On Chip) details such as the name, architecture, and clock speed for each core. It also reports system information like the device brand, model, screen resolution, RAM, and storage capacity. Additionally, it gives insights into your battery's level, status, temperature, and overall capacity, as well as a rundown of the sensors your device is equipped with.
Requirements:
To run CPU-Z on your Android, you need a device running Android version 2.2 or higher, specifically for version 1.03 and above.
Permissions:
CPU-Z requires the INTERNET permission to facilitate online validation, a feature introduced in version 1.04 and later. It also needs ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permission to gather statistics, ensuring the app runs smoothly and accurately.
Notes:
The online validation feature allows you to store your device's hardware specifications in a database. After validation, CPU-Z opens your validation URL in your current internet browser. If you opt to enter your email address, you'll receive a reminder link via email.
If CPU-Z encounters a bug and closes unexpectedly, the settings screen will appear upon the next launch. This screen allows you to toggle off main detection features, helping the app to run more stably. In case of bugs, you can send a debug report by selecting "Send Debug Infos" from the application menu.
