The app, titled "Baldurs Gate 3 - Mobile Turuk" and developed by "Dmytro Turuk," lacks any mention of Larian Studios or the Dungeons & Dragons franchise, raising immediate red flags. While its deceptive visuals might fool some, the exorbitant subscription cost quickly exposes its fraudulent nature. More concerningly, the app's terms of service suggest it may collect user data, including IP addresses.
This isn't the first instance of a Baldur's Gate 3 scam app; similar attempts have occurred previously.
