Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth PC Specs Demand High-End Hardware for 4K
Square Enix has released updated PC specifications for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, highlighting the need for powerful hardware, especially for 4K resolution. Two weeks ahead of the PC launch, the updated specs reveal that a high-end graphics card with 12-16GB VRAM is recommended for 4K gameplay.
The game leverages DLSS upscaling, Shader Model 6.6, and DirectX 12 Ultimate. This PC port arrives almost a year after the PS5 release, following a PS5 Pro enhancement patch. Unlike Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Rebirth will not receive any DLC, as Square Enix focuses on Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3.
While initial PC specs were shared earlier, Square Enix clarified the graphics card requirements. At minimum, a 12-16GB VRAM card is suggested for 4K, alongside a 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 OS, 155GB SSD storage, and 16GB RAM. A Ryzen 5 5600 or equivalent CPU is recommended, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or better is required due to DLSS utilization.
