Where to Find New Weapons in Hyper Light Breaker
The most direct path to new gear lies in exploring Overgrowths. While exploring naturally yields loot, focusing on sword (Blades) or pistol (Rails) icons on the map significantly increases your chances of finding weapons.
Blades are melee weapons, each with distinct movesets and abilities. Rails, the ranged options, offer diverse functionalities. Both weapon types come in varying rarities, with gold representing the most powerful. As expected, rarer weapons boast superior stats.
To save any discovered weapon for later use, press the Cache button instead of Equip. This sends it to your personal stash, allowing you to equip it before your next run.
Acquiring New Starting Weapons
Beyond finding weapons during runs, you can purchase new starting equipment from merchants at the Cursed Outpost. Initially, only the Blades merchant is accessible. To unlock the Rails merchant, repair their shop using gathered materials.
Merchant inventories are limited but refresh periodically. If you don't see anything appealing initially, check back later.
Weapon Upgrades
