Path of Exile 2's upcoming update, 2.0.1.1, promises substantial improvements across the board. Arriving later this week, this update directly addresses player feedback gathered during early access.
Key improvements focus on enhancing the endgame experience. This includes significant adjustments to endgame mapping, leagues, and pinnacle content. Expect refined monster and boss encounters, with a particular focus on streamlining the length of pinnacle content like citadels, which will now spawn closer to the Atlas center, aided by improved fog-of-war visibility. The Lost Tower map receives a complete overhaul, and four new tower variations (Alpine Ridge, Sinking Spire, Bluff, and Mesa) are added. Balance changes also affect unique items, making them more rewarding.
Further enhancements include faster monster spawns in strongboxes, improved fog effects within strongboxes, and adjustments to strongbox modifiers. The Ritual mechanic's rewards are also being balanced, with Omens appearing 60% more frequently. Expedition shops will offer rarer items.
