Rinascita is a treasure trove of discoveries, including a variety of puzzles that can be quite challenging to solve. Among these, Morph Paintings stand out, engaging players in two types of puzzles: Overflowing Palettes and straightforward restoration tasks.
Morph Painting Restoration puzzles are relatively simple and highly rewarding, especially if you're aiming to collect extra resources like Astrites in Wuthering Waves. Here's a concise guide on how these puzzles work, their locations, and how to solve them.
Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves
Restoring Morph Paintings is as easy as finding and placing the correct painting on the designated pedestals. Start by reading the descriptions on the pedestals to identify the right portrait, then use your Levitator utility to position the painting back where it belongs. The game will often switch your equipped tool to the Levitator automatically, but if it doesn't, you can manually equip it by pressing Tab or D-Pad Left.
Currently, the game features two such paintings, linked to the quests Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise and Trials of Old.
Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle
Within the Shadows of the Past questline in Wuthering Waves, players will explore all three towers in Thorncrown - Thessaleo Falls. The Resounding Rise tower houses a Morph Painting puzzle. Here's how to solve it, using the central large painting as a reference:
- Swap the paintings located at the front-left and back-right positions.
- Move the painting behind the left pedestals to the back-left slot.
- Place the painting behind the right chairs into the front-right slot.
Upon solving the puzzle, a chest will appear, allowing you to continue with the rest of the quest.
Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle
The Trials of Old quest requires completing four trials near Porto-Veno Castle in the eastern part of Thessaleo Fells. One of these trials, the Trial of Wisdom, includes a Morph Painting puzzle. Here, players need to arrange the paintings on the pedestals to narrate a story from left to right. Refer to the image above for the solution.
A handy tip to ensure you've placed the correct Morph Painting on the right pedestal is to check if the painting frame illuminates after insertion. This feature helps you bypass the puzzle's mechanics easily.
