Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 2.21 Enhances Game with NVIDIA DLSS 4

Recently, CD Projekt RED has released an exciting update for Cyberpunk 2077, introducing not only a series of fixes but also integrating cutting-edge NVIDIA technology.

With the introduction of DLSS 4 support, owners of GeForce RTX 50 graphics cards will enjoy the ability to generate multiple additional frames, enhancing their gaming experience. This technology will be available starting January 30th. Additionally, DLSS 4 accelerates the creation of one extra frame on both RTX 50 and 40 cards, all while utilizing less memory.

For all GeForce RTX graphics card users, there's now the option to choose between the traditional convolution neural network model and the innovative transform model for DLSS Ray Reconstruction, DLSS Super Resolution, and DLAA. Opting for the transform model results in improved lighting, finer details, and more stable imagery.

The update also addresses issues such as interference and crashes on in-game screens when DLSS ray reconstruction is active. The "Frame Creation" parameter now correctly updates following the deactivation of resolution scaling.

Key changes in update 2.21 for Cyberpunk 2077 include:

  • Fixed a bug that previously prevented players from interacting with certain vendors.
  • Resolved an issue where the audio for TV news programs was either missing or too quiet.
  • Corrected a bug that caused Johnny to appear less frequently in the passenger seat.
  • Addressed a glitch that led to some items disappearing when players used the hide function on nearby characters.
  • Fixed a game freeze that occurred when entering photo mode and simultaneously accessing a closet or stash.
  • In Photo Mode, players can now position Nibbles and Adam Smasher in the frame even if Vee is airborne or underwater.
  • Enhancements have been made to the feature that alters Adam Smasher's facial expressions, providing a more dynamic visual experience.
